Non-Surgical Brow Lift

Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® (Merz) are three powerful anti-wrinkle fighters. Others available currently in Europe, like Puretox (Mentor), are soon to be marketed in the US as well. These injectables can smooth horizontal forehead furrows and eliminate the “11’s” (the two vertical lines between your eyebrows) as well as crow’s feet around your eyes. But Botox and Dysport can also give you a non-surgical brow lift, subtly raising a drooping forehead, and in the process, lifting the upper eyelids. The effect can be a complete rejuvenation of the upper third of your face. It can even correct for brow asymmetry.

Although a non-surgical brow lift provides results that gradually become visible within one week, with no associated downtime, it isn’t always a better choice than a surgical brow lift. For one thing, although a non-surgical brow lift is a less expensive option than a brow lift, the results are temporary. Over time, maintaining your non-surgical results may prove more expensive than the one time cost of surgery.

There are other reasons why a surgical brow lift might be a better choice for you. If you have brows set below the upper rim of the eye socket, multiple expression lines, very deep furrows or some combination of all of these, a surgical procedure might give you more satisfying results. During your consultation, Dr. Yagoda will assess your condition and help you determine which option might best suit your needs.
