Dr. Yagoda serves as a committee member on the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery's Face-to-Face: Domestic Violence Project. Through this organization, she provides complimentary facial plastic surgery to survivors of domestic abuse.
Dr. Yagoda donates her time and services to such organizations as Elizabeth Glazer - Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Planned Parenthood, The Hassenfeld Children's Center at New York University, The Familial Dysautonomia Foundation, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and to students of professional voice.
Dr. Yagoda instructs medical students, interns and residents in otolaryngology, voice, and facial plastic surgery. She provides emergency care to uninsured and underinsured adults and children and serves as a mentor to women in facial plastic surgery. |
