Dr. Yagoda has been extensively interviewed by Roger Armbrust of BackStage magazine.
Dr. Michelle Yagoda is commended as one of the most comprehensive voice specialists by the New York Singing Teachers' Association. This is chiefly because she proposes a multidisciplinary approach comprised of a team of professionals including an ENT physician, voice coach, singing teacher, and speech pathologist as the key to optimal vocal health.
Prior to her efforts, those involved in voice care each operated independently and spoke a "different language". "The team approach", says Yagoda, "allows all voice professionals to communicate and understand one another and enables them to provide a level of care more than the sum of their individual parts."
Always a perfectionist, Dr. Yagoda has now expanded her own team! She has included the SPAce for Wellness in her office and recommends services such as stress reduction, pain relief, strength and flexibility training, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, yoga, meditation and massage. She believe these services will maximize performance and enhance overall vocal vitality.
Evaluations are by appointment only. Evening hours and private theater visits can be arranged.
