Patient 1

This 23 year-old Hispanic female sustained motorcycle accident with significant burns on much of her body while in Rome. Emergency care was provided in Italy. When she was stable, she was discharged. Unfortunately, foreign bodies were left in superficial skin lacerations, while attention was directed to her more life threatening wounds. She desired scar revision surgery (on her chin, knees and hands) and the removal of the pigmented foreign bodies as they served as a constant reminder of that motorcycle trauma. SkP1B4

At age 25, this Hispanic female underwent scar revision and removal of retained foreign bodies. She no longer has to be reminded of that motorcycle trauma when she looks in the mirror. SkP1A4
